Restoration & Complete Paint

A quality paint job starts with dismantling of all trim, wax and grease removal, orbital sanding of the finish and then repair of dents and rust. Next urethane 2K primer and blocking of the repairs. The vehicle is then meticulously taped and masked, a full coat of sealer is applied and then a high quality basecoat/clear coat finish. Paint will not hide imperfections in the body. Scratches and dents will magnify with new paint so it is important to prep a vehicle properly before paint is applied.

Scott’s Classic completes many stages of restoration for clients. While Scott’s Classic is fully capable of performing complete frame off and concurs restorations, many of our clients have Scott restore the body of their vehicle and enjoy performing most of the assembly and mechanical themselves.  This is a viable option for those on a tight budget. Scott’s Classic will involve you from start to finish and provide photos of progress. Scott’s Classic Paint and Body can work with you on phasing of your project to help meet your budget.
